LJP demands probe in Malegaon blasts; ban on Hindu extremists

New Delhi, Oct 24 (UNI) Lok Janshakti Party President and Union Minister Ram Vilas Paswan today demanded a probe into the alleged involvement of Hindu Jagran Manch in the Malegaon blasts and demanded a ban on the ultra-nationalist organisations like Bajrang Dal, Vishwa Hindu Parishad, RSS and Shiv Sena.

Reacting to the reports of involvement of Hindu organisations in Malegaon and Modasa bomb blasts, Mr Paswan said the activities of RSS, Bajrang Dal, VHP, Shiv Sena and Hindu Jagran Manch have always been suspicious. The LJP has been demanding to keep an eye on them for a long time and has asked for an independent inquiry into their activities.

Arrests of Hindu Jagran Manch's Shyam Sahu, Dilip Nahar and Dharmendra Bairagi from Indore for their role in Malegaon blasts have proved that LJP's demands were genuine, he said.

Earlier, death of Bajrang Dal activists in a blast while making bombs in Kanpur had also proved that these organisations were a danger to the unity and integrity of the country, he added and demanded stringent action against those guilty. He also asked for a ban on these organisations.
