JSM announces list of candidates for J

Jammu, Oct 24 (UNI) The Jammu State Morcha (P) today announced the list of its candidates from various constituencies for the forthcoming Assembly Elections scheduled to begin in J&K in seven phases from November 17 to December 24.

''We have fielded the candidates with clean image and those who have been serving for the welfare of the people. We are committed to our demand of fighting for the constitution of Jammu as a separate state,'' Prof Virender Gupta, JSM president said at a press conference here.

He also appealed to the people of Jammu region to support their party during elections.

The announced candidates from different constituencies were Prof Virender Gupta (Jammu West), Mr Anil Gour (Gandhi Nagar), Mr Balwinder Singh Jamwal (Nagrota), Mr Digvijay Singh Jamwal (Vijaypur), Mr Shiv Rattan Singh (Suchetgarh), Mr Jitender Bhagat (R S Pura), Mr Varinder Magotra (Bishnah), Mr Jia Lal Bhagat (Chenani) and Mr Surat Singh Sumbria (Ramnagar).
