JK Gov to hold last public hearing at Srinagar

Srinagar, Oct 24: Jammu and Kashmir Governor N N Vohra will hold a public hearing in the Civil Secretariat here on October 29, two days before the darbar move to winter capital Jammu.

According to a Raj Bhavan spokesperson, individuals and deputations desirous of meeting with the Governor have been asked to fix their appointments with the Governor's secretariat.

This will be third public hearing of the Governor this month and last before the seat of government shifts to winter capital, Jammu as part of the practice established by the Dogra rulers of the state before Independence.

Earlier, the Governor had held two such public hearings, on October 15 and 22, apart from his routine meetings with the public representatives at the Raj Bhavan.
