Hindustan Unilever Q2 net up 33.95 pc

New Delhi, Oct 24: Consumer goods giant Hindustan Unilever Ltd on Friday, Oct 24 said its net profit for the second quarter ended September 30 stood at Rs 546.61 crore as compared to Rs 408.06 crore in the same period last year, reporting an increase of 33.95 per cent.

The company's total income jumped 21.08 per cent to Rs 4,110.91 crore for Q2FY09 from Rs 3,395.17 crore in Q2FY08, it said in a statement.
