Five injured in the clash between two communities

Jalandhar, Oct 24 (UNI) Five persons sustained injuries in a clash between two groups belonging to different communities over a petty issue in the Brandragh road area of the city today.

According to the police the members of both the communities used sharp edged weapons, baseball bats, lathis and even indulged in stone pelting which led to injuries to five persons. A number of vehicles parked on the roadside were also damaged.

The police are investigating the matter and a case would be registered thereafter.
