Dasmunsi still critical, on life support
New Delhi, Oct 24 (UNI) The condition of Minister of Information and Broadcasting Priya Ranjan Dasmunsi today remained critical, four days after he was shifted from the All India Institute of Medical Sciences to the Apollo hospital here.
''The medical condition of Union Minister Priya Ranjan Dasmunsi remains the same and he continues to be on life support,'' a statement issued by the hospital authorities this evening said.
Mr Dasmunsi, who had been admitted to AIIMS after suffering a complete left ventricular failure on October 13, was shifted to Apollo on Monday where doctors had described his condition as ''very critical''.
Since then, his condition has remained the same.
Earlier, Mr Dasmunsi had a heart attack on July 6 while on way to Kolkata from Malda after attending a meeting.
He had undergone an angioplasty and stenting of two coronary arteries in a hospital in Kolkata.
