Winter session of Mah legislature may be postponed

Mumbai, Oct 23 (UNI) The winter session of the Maharashtra legislature, that was supposed to start from November 19 at Nagpur, is expected to be postponed to December one and would continue upto December 19.

According to sources, leader of the opposition in the Maharashtra Legislative Council Pandurang Phundkar, had requested through a letter to postpone the legislature as Zilla Parishad elections will be held in four districts at the same time, during which code of conduct will also be applicable.

The decision on this issue is expected to be taken soon.
