Villagers set Jaypee Cement factory on fire

Bokaro, Oct 23 (UNI) A cement plant office, joint venture of Bokaro Steel Plant and Jaypee Cement, was set on fire by the villagers in Jharkhand.

Police sources today said villagers, carrying weapons, attacked Jaypee Cement office and set ablaze the factory as well as the vehicles parked near it.

Angry villagers, on being displaced from the jobs, attacked the Bokaro Steel Plant and Jaypee Cement Factory and put it on fire, the sources added.

The police has registered cases against unknown people and was investigating the case.
