Utt Goenkara delegation to call on Goa Governor

Panaji, Oct 23 (UNI) A delegation of city-based NGO, Utt Goenkara, will call on Goa Governor S S Sidhu at the weekend in support of their demand for sacking of state Education Minister Atanasio Monserrate.

Utt Goekara General Secretary John Lobo said the activists will hold silent demonstration at all the official functions of the Minister and will continue holding the same till Mr Monserrate resigns as minister.

Mr Lobo further said Mr Monserrate had lost all moral authority to continue as minister, after he allegedly masterminded the October 13 attack by masked men on Utt Goenkara spokesman Adv Aires Rodrigues and his friend Prajal Sakhardande.
