Two security officer of Konkan Railway receive award

Mumbai, Oct 23 (UNI) Two Railway Protection Force (RPF) security officers of Konkan railway have received award for their exemplary service.

According to official release here today that Mr A K Prit (Assistant Security Commissioner, Madgaon) and Mr L K Sagar (Sub-Inspector Belapur) were awarded by Director General, RPF with commendation and insignia for their exemplary service.

Mr Prit had joined service at Chittaranjan as a sub-inspector in 1992 and he had performed duties in Punjab, Jharkhand, Bihar and other states.

Mr Sagar had joined the service in 1989 and worked different capacity in RPF. He had also received reward of Rs 2000 for solving a dacoity case that was reported on November 11, 2006 in Mangla express between Chiplun and Ratnagiri stations in which 11 accused were arrested, the release added.
