Transport workers' strike in Pondy enters day 2
Puducherry, Oct 23: The strike by the employees of the Puducherry Road Transport Corporation(PRTC) to press their demands entered the second day.
None of the 75 buses of the Corporation plied for the second day.
They were demanding the immediate implementation of the VI Pay Commission recommendations.
Meanwhile, the government had invited them for a discussion today where an amicable settlement was expected.
