RJD to stake claim to 4 LS seats in J'khand
Dumka, Oct 23 (UNI) The Rashtriya Janata Dal today said it would try to field candidates in four Lok Sabha seats in Jharkhand in the general elections due early next year.
RJD legislature wing leader Annapurna Devi told reporters here that the party would have discusion on the matter and also other UPA allies before taking a final decision on the matter.
Ms Devi said the party's state unit had so far identified four seats--Palamu, Koderma, Chatra and Godda in Santhal Pargana--adding it would be placed before party president Lalu Prasad Yadav for perusal.
Ms Devi made a brief tour of the district.
