Residents present Rs1.03 lakh draftto Governor for flood-hit people

Chandigarh, Oct 23 (UNI) In a humantarian gesture, a residents' organisation today presented a draft of Rs 1,03,040 to Punjab Governor and Union Territory Administrator, General (Retd.) S F Rodrigues for flood-affected people of Bihar.

The draft was presented by the Residents Welfare Organisation of Sector 38-A and B, Chandigarh, at the Punjab Raj Bhavan here.

General Rodrigues congratulated them for their gesture and appealed to other NGOs and individuals to extend their help and support for the flood affected victims in different parts of the Country.
