PRP to enroll members for assembly constituencies in District

Kakinada, Oct 23 (UNI) The Praja Rajyam Party (PRP) today decided to enroll a minimum of 50,000 membership from each of the 19 Assembly constituencies in East Godavari District and applications were received from 1.88 lakh members.

Talking to newspersons here, M Nagendra and E Wesley, members of the District Coordination Committee said the membership drive would be completed by first week of November.

They said the actor-politician and founder-leader Chiranjivi would constitute the party committees at all levels.

The review meetings of the PRP were completed for the Kakinada assembly and Amalapuram parliamentary constituencies during the past two days and a meeting for the Rajahmundry constituency would be announced shortly, they added.
