Kaziranga to open from Nov 1

Guwahati, Oct 23: The World famous Kaziranga National Park will open for tourists from Nov 1. The most famous tourist destination of the North East along with Shillong, the KNP remains closed for almost six months because of floods.

The floods actually are a saviour of the eco system of the park which has nearly 1400 rhinos, the highest number anywhere in the world.

Last year more than 1.5 lakh people visited Kaziranga.
