ITPO organise Envirotech 08, Energy Tech 08 exhibitions

Hyderabad, Oct 23 (UNI) The India Trade Promotion Organisaiton(ITPO) would organise 'Envirotech 08 and Energy Tech 08' exhibitions at New Delhi from December 14 to 17 to showcase the complete solutions and for a clean and green environment and energy sector.

Addressing the members of the Federation of Andhra Pradesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry(FAPCCI) here today, Chairman and Managing Director, ITPO Dr Sheela Bhide said ITPO planned to hold the two exhibitions regularly every year to make it an important international exhibitions in the area of clean energy and green life style with active participation from related trade and industry both from India and aborad.

He said it would be an endeavour of ITPO to make these twin events an ideal platform not only for business transactions, but also for creating awareness on these two important issues. The event would also include B2B meetings apart from series of seminars.

Dr Bhide said ITPO during its existence of nearly three decades, had played a proactive role in catalysing trade, investment and technology transfer processes. Its promotional tools include organising of fairs and exhibitions in India and aborad, buyer-seller meets, contact promotion programmes etc.

General Manager ITPO N K Sehgal said the two events were being organised in collaboration with the Energy and Resources Institute and Bureau of Energy Efficiency, government of India, with support from concerned Ministries and other stake holders.

President of FAPCCI Suraj Prasad Agarwal said environmental problems were creating a global need for a wide range of products, processes, technologies and managemnet practices to enable human kind to derive the benefit of the scientific progress and still had the ambience of natural environment and climate.
