Fire in leather factory at Tengra, no casualty

Kolkata, Oct 23 (UNI) A fire broke out in a leather factory at Tengra on the eastern outskirts of the city today.

Fire brigade sources said, 14 engines were pressed into service to control the blaze, which erupted at around 0830 hrs.

The fire brigade personnel were taking all measures to prevent the inferno from spreading.

The cause of the fire and loss of property were yet to be ascertained, the sources said.

No casualty was reported so far. Details are awaited.
