CRPF lifters pick up 4 golds in weightlifting

Karnal, Oct 23 (UNI) CRPF dominated the weightlifting competitions picking up four gold medals in the All India Cluster Police Games being held at the Haryana Police Complex at Madhuban.

Nandni Devi and Porreinganbi Chanu picked up golds for CRPF in the 58 kg and 63 kg respectively in the snatch and clean and jerk categories for women. The CRPF also picked up the silver medals in these two categories.

While in the mens competition, Durga Parsad in the 56 kg and T Kumar in the 62 kg won golds for the CRPF.

In the judo competitions, Kawaljit Singh won the gold for Punjab Police in 73 kg while Virender Singh picked up the gold in the 81 kg event.
