Cotton Corp to enter all 32 markets: Lakhowal
Moga, Oct 23 (UNI) Punjab Mandi Board Chairman Ajmer Singh Lakhowal today said that Cotton Corporation would enter in all the 32 cotton markets from tomorrow.
The Punjab Mandi Board Chairman told reporters here that Secretary Agriculture and Corporation, whom he had met at New Delhi recently, had assured him that Cotton Corporation of India would enter in all the 32 cotton markets whereas it used to enter only 18 cotton markets earlier.
He also assured that the Punjab Farmers would get MSP of Rs 2800 per quintal, Mr Lakhowal said.
Mr Lakhowal also claimed that Punjab this year had produced a very fine quality of cotton.
