Coolness in air persists in Delhi, mercury drops to 33.1 deg C

New Delhi, Oct 22 (UNI) The coolness in the air in Delhi persisted today with the mercury dropping to 33.1 degrees celsius.

Continuing the drop in the mercury in Delhi in the run up to Diwali, which marks arrival of Winter in the Capital city, the maximum temperature fell, from 33.2 degrees yesterday, to 33.1 degrees.

The minimum also fell, from 19.5 Degree Celsius yesterday, to 18.8 Degree C.

The coolness in the air is likely to remain in the next few days with the weatherman forecasting a drop in maximum temperature to 33 degrees tomorrow.

The met office has forecast a mainly clear sky in Delhi during the next 24 hours with possibility of slight mist in the morning.
