Ashok Chawla appointed as India's Alternate Governor in World Bank
New Delhi, Oct 23 (UNI) Department of Economic Affairs Secretary Ashok Chawla has been appointed India's Alternate Governor on the World Bank Board with immediate effect.
Mr Chawla will replace D Subba Rao, who had recently been appointed as the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) Governor.
