Train ride atop the bogies in the 'Year of Passenger Safety'

Gwalior, October 22, 2008 : While the Indian railways celebrate this year as the passenger safety year, the local passengers continue risking their lives by traveling on the rooftop.

It is common to see people sitting on the rooftop of the vintage narrow gauge trains in Gwalior, which chug along in the area. Narrow gauge trains are still in operation here, linking Gwalior to Morena and Shivpuri.
