Spurious fertilizer seized in large quantity in UP

Gorakhpur, Oct 22 (UNI) Police have seized spurious fertilizers in as many as 1,000 gunny bags during a dawn raid in Sikriganj area here.

Acting on a tip-off, police raided a godown and made the recovery.

Besides, altogether 300 bags of spurious fertilizers bearing the tag of prominent companies was seized, police said.

Meanwhile, police have sealed the godown and nabbed three people in the connection.
