SEBI allots revised corporate debt allocations
Mumbai, Oct 22 (UNI) The Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) today alloted corporate debt limits to various institutions following increase in the cumulative debt investment limit to six billion USD by the Finance Ministry.
In a relese here, SEBI said in case the limits were not utilised by November six, the same shall be withdrawn to the entities lower down the list of requests received by SEBI.
Among the 18 institutions, which had requested for enhanced limits, SEBI aproved the request of 17 and for Barclays Capital Securities Mauritius Ltd. as against a request of 300 m dollars the allotment was only50.27 m dollars.
