PM expresses elation, lauds ISRO scientists

Sriharikota, Oct 22 (UNI) Prime Minister Manmohan Singh was elated and excited about the successful launch of Chandrayaan-I by PSLV-C11 from the SHAR centre here, ISRO Chief G Madhavan Nair said today.

Talking to reporters after the launch of India's maiden moon mission, he said the Prime Minister used all kinds of superlatives in pouring encomiums on Indian space scientists for the successful launch.

''India feels proud about ISRO's achievements'', the Prime Minister said and conveyed his appreciation to the entire team, Dr Nair disclosed.
