Parked car causes flutter at Airport
Chennai, Oct 22 (UNI) A car parked in front of the departure point of the Anna International Airport here today caused a flutter when the bomb disposal squad broke open the windscreens to find whether it was loaded with explosives.
After noticing the Maruti 800 car being parked for four days, the Airport police alerted the bomb disposal squad, as they grew suspicious that it could be a car bomb.
The squad, on rushing to the scene, broke open the windscreen of the car and combed the car. However, no explosive was found inside.
Police traced the owner of the car, using a SIM card found inside.
