One person runover and killed by train

Ranchi, Oct 22 (UNI) A 25-year-old youth was run over and killed by a train while trying to pass a railway crossing at Chutia here today.

Victim Rajan Verma, an agent of Sahara Insurnance company, despite the barrier downed tried to cross railway lines on his motorcycle between Ranchi-Namkom railway station. The accident occurred at 1100 hrs, police said.

Ranjan was a resident of Kishoreganj near Harmu in the city.
