ITBP Raising Day on Oct 24, Patil to take parade salute

New Delhi, Oct 22 (UNI) Union Home Minister Shivraj Patil will take salute of the ceremonial parade of the Indo-Tibetan Border Police to celebrate its 47th Raising Day on October 24.

Marching contingents of various sectors of the para-military force would participate in the parade, according to the ITBP.

President's Police Medal for Distinguished Service and Police Medal for Meritorious Service will also be awarded by the Home Minister at the investiture ceremony to mark the occasion.
