IIFT organises national symposium on Indian banking
Mumbai, Oct 22 (UNI) Representatives of the country's banks' today discussed the future of the banking sector in a day-long '' National Symposium on Indian Banking'', organized by the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT) and the Bombay Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) here today.
''The world is currently witnessing a lot of volatility in the banking and financial sectors and this symposium will give us an opportunity to analyze, discuss and question the preparedness of the Indian banking sector in this era of turmoil,'' IIFT director KT Chako said.
On the agenda were the changing dynamics of the banking sector, emerging trends and issues in risk management, and partnership between corporates and banks.
