New Delhi, Oct 22 (UNI) There is no change in the 'very serious' health condition of Information and Broadcasting Minister Priya Ranjan Dasmunsi, two days after he was shifted from the All India Institute for Medical Sciences to the Apollo hospital, hospital sources said.
''The medical condition of the Union Minister remains the same and he continues to be on life support,''a bulletin issued by the hospital authorities said.
Doctors at the Apollo hospital, where Mr Dasmunsi was admitted on Monday morning from AIIMS following a request from his relatives, had described his condition as 'very critical'.
Mr Dasmunsi was admitted to AIIMS on October 13 after he complained of breathlessness, due to lung congestion and complete left ventricular failure.
The senior Congress leader had earlier suffered a heart attack on July 6 while on way to Kolkata from Malda after attending a meeting.
He had undergone an angioplasty and stenting of two coronary arteries in a hospital in Kolkata.
