Groundnutseed, oil, RBD palm oil eases

Mumbai, Oct 22 (UNI) Prices of groundnutseed and its oil along with RBD palm oil slipped today on lack of fresh demand, in view of weak advice from upcountry markets, traders at the Bombay Commodity Exchange said.

In oil seeds (per quintal), groundnut and nigerseed eased by Rs 50 per quintal each, on poor buying support by stockists. Similarly, Castorseed Bombay and Disa declined by Rs 25 per quintal each on sluggish demand by bulk consumers.

In oils (per ten kg), groundnut oil and RBD palm oil slid by Rs 10 and Rs three per ten kg respectively, on poor offtake, traders said. However, sunflower exp rose by Rs 10 per ten kg on sustained demand by stockists.

In de-oiled cakes, all prices remained unchanged on scattered buying support by dealers, traders added.
