FCI officers contribute Rs 2 crore towards PM's Relief Fund

New Delhi, Oct 22 (UNI) The staff of Food Corporation of India (FCI) have voluntarily contributed their one day's salary towards Prime Minister's National Relief Fund for relief to the people of Bihar affected by recent unprecedented floods caused by breach in embankment of Kosi river.

Mr Alok Sinha, Chairman&Managing Director, FCI presented a cheque of Rs 2 crore to Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution Minister Sharad Pawar here today.
