CRPF jawans beat 2 villagers to death; scores hurt

Jagdalpur, Chhattisgarh, Oct 22 (UNI) Two persons were allegedly killed and more than 50 injured today after Central Reserve Police Force constables rounded up and ''severely interrogated'' residents of three villages in the vicinity of Kokampalli village near which 12 CRPF constables were killed in a landmine blast and naxal firing on Monday.

Bijapur District Collector Monish Tyagi ordered a probe into the incident at the CRPF's Modakpal camp.
