New Delhi, Oct 22 (UNI) Power equipment company Areva T&D today said its transmission and distribution division has bagged a 35 million euro contract from Bhilai steel plant, a unit of state-owned Steel Authority of India Ltd (SAIL).

Areva will provide its state-of-the-art protection, control and monitoring system for the existing substations, including a 132 KV gas insulated substation and air insulated substations of the plant.

The project is scheduled for delivery by October 2010, a company statement said here.
