Punjab Cabinet condoles death of Chhatwal, Kirpal Singh

Chandigarh, Oct 21 (UNI) The Punjab Cabinet today condoled the deaths of A S Chhatwal, Secretary, Science and Technology, and ADC Tarn Taran Kirpal Singh, both of whom passed away yesterday.

The Cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal expressed their heart-felt sympathies with the members of the bereaved families.

The Cabinet described both these officers as an asset to the state government, who by their sense of commitment, sincerity and dedication tirelessly worked for the development of the state and welfare of its people.

A two-minute silence was also observed by the Cabinet to pay tributes to the departed souls.
