Manipal telemedicine in five AP centres

Vijayawada, Oct 21: Manipal Super speciality hospital at Tadepalli has launched telemedicine centres in five hospitals at small towns in Krishna and West Godavary districts.

Manipal Health Systems Vice-President (operations) T Ramoji, inaugurating the telemedicine network linking the super speciality hospital to small hospitals in Gudivada, Nuzvid, Vuyyuru, Challapalli in Krishna district and Jangareddigudem in West Godavary district yesterday, said the hospital was planning to expand the network to 25 centres by the end of next year and to 50 centres by the middle of 2010.
