Jawan injured in militant firing in Poonch

Jammu, Oct 21 (UNI) An army jawan was critically wounded when the militants opened fire on patrolling party of army in Kalsan sector near the Line of Control in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir, sources here said.

''Some unidentified militants, who laid ambush, opened indiscriminate firing upon the army patrol party in village Dhalian of Kalsan sector late last evening,'' official sources told UNI.

Meanwhile, one army jawan sustained injuries and was immediately hospitalised, they asserted.
