Diwali special trains on Konkan Railway route

Panaji, Oct 21 (UNI) Konkan Railway will run Diwali special trains between Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus, Mumbai, and Madgaon via Konkan Railway route to clear extra rush of passengers during the festival season.

On October 23 and 30, the 0105 DN special train will start from Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus at 2355 hrs and reach Madgaon at 1410 hrs the next day.

The 0106 UP special train will start from Madgaon on October 24 and 31 at 1440 hrs and reach Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus at 0420 hrs the next day.

The 0105/0106, having 13 coaches, will halt at Dadar, Thane, Panvel, Roha, Mangaon, Veer, Khed, Chiplun, Savarde, Aravali Rd, Sangameshwar, Ratnagiri, Adavali, Vilavade, Rajapur RD, Vaihawadi, Nandgaon, Kankavli, Sindhudurg, Kudal, Sawantwadi Rd, Madure, Pernem, Thivim, and Karmali.

In addition, one extra ordinary chair car will also be attached to the 2051/2052 Janshatabdi Exp from October 24 to November 15, according to a Konkan Railway Corporation release, issued here today.
