Three drown in sea

Chennai, Oct 20 (UNI) Three people drowned in sea in separate incidents off Marina while swimming last evening.

Prakash (21) of Salem had come to Chennai to attend his friend's wedding, after which he went to the beach and entered the sea for a swim.

However, he was swept away by big waves.

In a similar incident, Rafi (16) and Sathish (17) also got drowned. Police said the three bodies were washed as here this morning Anna Square police station retrieved the bodies and sent them to Government Hospital for postmortem.
