NDA would unitedly contest Lok Sabha elections in Bihar:Nitish
Patna, Oct 20 (UNI) Bihar Chief Minister and senior JD(U) leader Nitish Kumat today dismissed the reports of internal bickerings in NDA and asserted that it would unitedly contest the forthcoming Lok Sabha elections in the state.
Responding to a query during an interaction with the mediapersons here, Mr Kumar said such reports were being circulated in the media by the vested interests.
'' Both the constituents of NDA in Bihar--JD(U) and BJP are working in close co-ordination and running the state government smoothly'' Mr Kumar said adding report of internal friction was baseless.
During the state level working committee meeting of the BJP that concluded in Chhapra yesterday, the rebel group within the party fold had expressed their anguish over the relationship with the JD(U) and had ventilated their grievances over their alleged humiliation in the NDA regime in the state.
When asked about the implementation of the recommendations of sixth pay commission, he said the state government was considering it however, he declined to reveal the exact time frame.
