Malegaon police receives threat letter from IM
Nashik, Oct 20 (UNI) Indian Mujahideen (IM) has sent a letter to Malegaon police, asking them'' to stop arresting Muslims in connection with the bomb blasts in the town on September 29 or face dire consequences''.
The letter was received by city Additional Superintendent of Police Sanjay Patil's office from Nagpur yesterday.
It warned police to stop ''arresting innocent Muslims in connection with the Malegaon bomb blasts case or face dire consequences''.
Police have taken serious note of the letter, written in Urdu and English.
