Jewellery worth Rs 2.5 lakh looted in Bhgalapur
Bhagalpur, Oct 20 (UNI) Armed criminals today looted jewellery worth Rs 2.5 lakh from a shop at Osipur Barahatta Bazaar under the Pirpaiti police station area in the district.
Police said that about six armed criminals stormed into the shop of a jeweller, Sanjay Kejariwal and looted ornaments worth Rs 2.5 lakh. They later managed to escape from the spot and also exploded bombs while fleeing.
Two people sustained injuries in the incident and have been admitted to a local hospital, police added.
Searches were being carried out to nab the criminals.
