Delhi's movement towards winter continues, mercury drops to 34.1 Deg
New Delhi, Oct 20 (UNI) Delhi's movement towards the Winter season, in the run up to Diwali, continued today with the mercury dropping to 34.1 Degrees Celsius.
The beginning of the week before Diwali, which marks the arrival of the Winter in the national capital, saw the maximum temperature drop to 34.1 Degrees Celsius, one degree below normal.
The minimum was also recorded one degree below normal at 16.5 Degrees Celsius, one degree below normal.
The coolness in the air is likely to remain in the next few days with weathermen forecasting a drop in maximum temperature to 34 Degrees C tomorrow.
The Met office has forecast a mainly clear sky in Delhi during the next 24 hours.
