UP govt employees to get salary, bonus prior Diwali

Lucknow,Oct 19(UNI) The Uttar Pradesh government today said the state government employees would be provided salary for the ongoing month along with a hiked bonus of Rs 3,500 before the Diwali festival.

Official sources said the employees would get salary for this month on October 27 only.

Besides, each state government employee would receive a bonus of Rs 3,500 against the earlier fixed amount of Rs 2,500.
