Kidnapped child reunited with parents

Hubli, Oct, 19 (UNI) A 18-month old child which was kidnapped by its own uncle was reunited with his parents by the police today.

Police said the child was kidnapped by his own uncle Deepak Kathare in the city a few days ago. He had committed the act following an inducement to th effect by one Nagaraj Jambagi who assured the person of making the child the seer of a math.

Police found the child sleeping in an car near Korthi Kolhar of Bagalkot district. The driver of the car was also there with the child. The police took the driver to custody and the child was handed over to the parents.

However the main accused Nagaraj was still at large.
