HP CM asks people to vote BJP in next Lok Sabha polls

Hamirpur, HP, Oct 19 (UNI) Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Prem Kumar Dhumal today gave a clarion call to the people to vote for the BJP in the next Lok Sabha elections.

Addressing a public gathering at Tounidevi village he thanked the voters of Hamirpur Parliamentary constituency for voting in favour of the BJP in the last two by-polls and hoped that the same tempo would be maintained in the coming election too.

Pointing out that the BJP was in power in the state, the Chief Minister said to accelerate the pace of development in the state, a BJP-led government was a must at Delhi. He claimed that the previous Congress government had neglected a number of areas in the state.

Earlier, the Chief Minister inaugurated the newly constructed building of the village hospital. A sum of Rs 1.65 crore had been spent on its construction.

He announced that the local Civil Hospital would be named after former Bamsan legislator, the late Dr Lashkari Ram Rathore.

With an eye on the next Lok Sabha elections, Prof Dhumal announced schemes worth several crores, which included construction of link roads in Sujanpur, Mewa and Hamirpur Assembly constituencies.
