DMRC orders inquiry in collapse of Metro bridge

New Delhi, Oct 19 (UNI) The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has ordered a high level inquiry into the collapse of an under construction Metro bridge in Laxmi Nagar area of East Delhi.

''The DMRC has ordered a high level probe into this morning's accident,'' DMRC spokesperson Anuj Dayal said.

Meanwhile, several directors of the DMRC and other senior officials had reached the site of the accident which occurred early this morning.

At least one person was killed and several others injured after a part of the under construction flyover collapsed.

A blueline bus with several passengers on board was trapped under the debris.
