CM directs DMRC for inquiry in bridge collapse, visits injured

New Delhi, Oct 19 (UNI) Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit today directed the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) to institute a comprehensive probe into the collapse of an under construction Metro bridge in East Delhi this morning which left two people dead and several others injured.

The Chief Minister also visited the LNJP hospital to inquire about those injured in the accident.

Delhi Finance Minister A K Walia also visited the accident site.

At least two people were killed and several others injured after a part of under construction bridge of Delhi Metro collapsed.

A blueline bus with several passengers on board was trapped under the debris.
