4 missing, 10 injured as bus falls into tank

Vijayawada, Oct 19 (UNI) As many four people were missing and ten injured as a bus, carrying a marriage party of 40 people, fell into a tank at Tariagoppula of Unguturu mandal in Krishna district this evening.

Police said the incident occurred when the bus was on its way to Gannavaram from Manikonda and the driver of the bus lost control over the vehicle while negotiating a curve.

However, 36 passengers managed to came out of the bus.

Search operation in the tank had started to trace the missing people, police said.

The injured were taken to the government hospital here, police added.
