Panipat Thermal Power Plant employees to get generation incentive
Chandigarh, Oct 18 (UNI) The Haryana Power Generation Corporation Ltd (HPGCL) today said it has decided to give incentive to the staff of Panipat Thermal Power Plant for achieving monthly and daily generation targets.
The decision was taken in a meeting of Board of Directors of the HPGCL chaired by the Financial Commissioner, the Principal Secretary (Power) and HPGCL Chairman Ashok Lavasa.
''It will help in boosting morale of the employees and the consumers would be able to get more electricity from the state's existing largest power generating station,'' a HPGCL spokesman said.
He said the generation incentive would be paid separately for four units of 110 MW capacity each and 210 MW and 250 MW units to reward the employees for their efforts and their endeavour to earn maximum incentive by putting in their best efforts.
Mr Lavasa said the monthly incentive would be given on achieving the Plant Load Factor (PLF) of 65 to 70 per cent by the Units of 110 MW and 85 to 90 per cent for units of 210 MW and 250 MW.
The capacity of generating unit under renovation and maintenance would not be considered for counting the monthly PLF for generation incentive purpose.
The ceiling limit of average pay of Rs 12,000 per month for payment of incentive has been withdrawn.
